Our Story

Established in the 1970s, the club boasts a proud history of competitive success, having produced county-level players from Yorkshire, Durham, Cleveland, and Cumbria.

Over the decades, we've competed with distinction in both the Harrogate and North Yorkshire squash leagues, with many individual and team titles to our name.

Originally owned by the members, the club underwent a major change in the late 1990s when ownership was transferred to Northallerton Rugby Club. This brought new benefits, including access to the rugby club's bar and improved shared facilities.

Facilities and Access

Our club features two standard squash courts, a staged spectator area, changing rooms, showers, and toilet facilities. Members can book courts 7 days a week between 8am and 10pm via our online booking system.

What we offer

At Northallerton Squash Club, we are able to offer both Squash and Racketball, if you want to try Racketball, we have some rackets available for members to borrow.

• Squash: Fast-paced and highly competitive, perfect for fitness and agility.
• Racketball: A more beginner-friendly alternative. The ball is larger and bounces higher, making it great fun and suitable for families or those new to racket sports.

England Squash

Our club is affiliated with England Squash, the national governing body for the sport. This affiliation supports coaching, competitions, and player development at our club.
